Sneferu (2639-2604 B.C.)

Sneferu is considered the first ruler of the 4th dynasty. The rulers of the 4th dynasty are said to be direct descendants of Sneferu because he was the father of Khufu. During his reign he engaged in a lot of royal building projects, agriculture, ship building, and even foreign policy.
Khufu (2604-2581 B.C.)

Khufu is most famous for building the Great Pyramid at Giza. Only one statue exists of him however and it is one of the smallest pieces of Egyptian royal art discovered. He became rule during his 20's and immediately began construction of his pyramid which was a massive 23 year building project. The cult of Khufu was followed up until the 26th dynasty.
Djedefre (2581-2572 B.C.)

He first coined the royal title "Son of Ra". He built his own pyramid at Abu Rawash but it is now in ruins. Some say that the sphinx of his wife was the first sphinx to be done. There is also evidence he may be responsible for the Sphinx at Giza as well.
Khafre (2572-2546 B.C.)

Kahfre the son of Khufu is credited with building the second largest pyramid in Giza. The Sphinx is also said to be dated to the time of Kahfre and even include some of his features.
Menkaure (2539-2511 B.C.)

Menkaure is responsible for the smallest of the the three pyramids at Giza but is said to have died before it was constructed. The royal court was made up of mostly of his half brothers.
Shepsekaf (2511-2506 B.C.)

He was the last ruler during the 4th dynasty. He helped complete the Pyramid of Menkaure and the tombs located in South Saqqara.
