Teti (2347-2337 B.C.)

Teti was the first ruler of the 6th dynasty. His wife was the daughter of Unas. He maintained relationships with Byblos and kept the same court officials from Unas reign.
Userkare (2337-2335 B.C.)

It is said that Tetis bodyguards and Userkare where behind the death of Teti but this is no confirmed. He did start some building works but no pyramid was ever constructed.
Pepy I (2335-2285 B.C.)

Pepy I was the son of Titi. His reign was marked by an aggressive campaign into Nubia. The decline of the Old Kingdom is said to have started during his reign. Two copper statues of him and his son were excavated Hireakonpolis.
Merenre (2285-2279 B.C.)

Merenre was the son of Pepy I. His half brother Pepy II took over as leader after his reign. He continued his fathers conquests in Nubia and kept diplomatic relations with Byblos as well.
Pepy II (2219-2218 B.C.)

Pepy II is said to have married his half-sister.During his reign trading expedtitions were being sent to Byblos in Syria where vases with Pepy I and II inscriptions were found.
Nemtyemsaf II (2219-2218 B.C.)

He was the son of Pepy II. Herodotus wrote that he was murdered in a plot by and his sister Nitkoris avenged his death.
Nitkoris (2218-2216 B.C.)

She was the last ruler of the 6th dynasty. Herodotus wrote that she invited her brothers murderers to a banquet and killed them by flooding the room. To avoid retaliation she ended up committing suicide.
